I am now testing the harddrive (Maxtor DiamondStar 21 - 250GB) on this computer, using an USB docking bay. It doesn't spin up nor it's being detected...

Jeepers. Multiple devices fried, apparently. Power surge or bad PSU?

    Good day.
This is just a streak of bad luck. New system is working fine now with a different hard disk, but now my Macrium Reflect backup has got some bad clusters (CRC error). Is there any way to restore it even if it has got some corruption?

PS - Whoah. Now I feel lucky. After copying the damaged backup with Roadkill's Unstoppable copier (three times), I have managed to recover it intact. I have verified it and displayed no errors. YAY!

I have marked the thead as solved because everything is running fine now. No surprise, as mainboard, cpu, memory are new and I have also replaced hard disk and case.
