    Restore external disc drive on Windows 10


    The D drive I've been using to play discs on an external player has suddenly vanished without trace. How can I restore it, please?

    Have you made any software, hardware, or driver changes prior to this happening?

    Have you got a recent System Restore Point that you could try => System Restore.

    Thank you Paul but the answer to both questions is no. I suspect this is the result of an overnight W10 update!
