Win10 print problem - Brother DCP-330C scanning but not printing

On friends Windows 10 having suddenly (yesterday) problem with printing on Brother DCP-330C multifunction.
Windows sees printer online and is set to default.
Scanning works fine. It's connected via USB.
Printer works fine on another PC, so printer is OK.
Brother software sees printer offline but is able to initiate scan.
Tried reboot PC, another USB port, reboot printer, uninstall/reinstall - nothing helped for this PC.
Print job can be seen in print queue it says "printing" and after a while it disappears - no error reports but nothing more happens.
Is there a way how to completely remove all drivers/history of installed printer to start on greenfield?
Don't know what happened - there was no change in system (don't know if there was any update of win)
Printer uses driver provided by Windows 10 (manufacturer does not provide separate driver for win 10)
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello @d3im,

    Welcome to TenForums!

As @JoeMcLutz has pointed out, we covered this in great detail yesterday and found that it is caused by a WU that affect most, if not all, Brother printers!

    I hope this helps!

Thanks both for info, hope it'll be solved soon. Will be posting on yesterday's thread and will mark this one as solved when it will be OK on this printer.

    win logo
    run cmd (DOS windows)
    wusa /uninstall /kb:4557957

remove the kb4557957 or kb4560960 update to fix

I think you will find that the OP has already tried that without any success!

Thanks but it did not work for me. I instead downloaded and installed latest kb4567512 (you can find it in Microsoft Update Catalog) and it solved my problem.

Implicit update download and install from WU catalog solved my issue:
Printer doesn't work anymore after the last Windows update

Thanks everyone. Shame for MS, but the bright side is I found this forum
