I keep an image and a restore point and both get the job done. When you restore your image (assuming you will because it is the only way out), download wushowhid.diagcab and run it to hide the update.

One thing about wushowhid.diagcab, you have to be connected to the internet and Update enabled. The way to get around this is to run wushowhid.diagcab while Update is working and wushowhid.diagcab will find KB4560960 and you can hide it before Update can get it downloaded - wait until wushowhid.diagcab shows that it has hidden KB4560960 then reboot you PC and run wushowhid.diagcab again and look under "Show hidden updates" and KB4560960 should be listed.
I tried to completely uninstall printer driver/software and reinstall it but nothing changes... The problem perisists as well as those damn PrinterIsolationHost.exe issues on the event viewer.
No, I won't do anything further but waiting for Microsoft to solve it.
Hello, I have the same problem on two different client computers that have brother printers.
Had exactly the same issue today with my wireless printer. Uninstalled the stated update(KB4560960); now my Brother DCP-J315W is back to printing again. Thanks for your help
Good luck with that- if you look at the News item on that update there's nothing listed about printers.
Have you reported it using the Feedback Hub app? If no one tells them, nothing will happen.
I've suggested from early on in this you uninstall the update, unless the effect is unimportant.
Good luck
Hello @AbleArcher,
Welcome to TenForums!
Out of interest, how did you uninstall KB4560960?
I only ask because as you have probably read in this thread, members have had a problem uninstalling it!
Thanks in advance.
I have just been doing a follow up on this and some sites say that the WUSA /quiet switch parameter DOES work in Win 10, and some say that it does NOT.
If somebody can confirm this one way or another, it would be VERY useful!
We will first see what answer @AbleArcher comes back with!
