    Usb not working after latest update


    Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041.329

    I downloaded and installed the latest update and ever since then my usb drives do not work on boot up. I can fix the problem by going to device manager - universal serial bus controllers - uninstall everything in there and reboot. I hate to have to do every time I boot up.
    Any suggestions about how to permanently fix?

    Hi, no reports of that in comments under the thread for that update so far:
    KB4557957 Cumulative Update Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.329 - June 9

    Which model laptop? How old is it?

    If the problem started after installing thart update and can be corrected by uninstalling it, then I suggest you do so and use suitable means (tutorial, free 3rd party tool often mentioned) to hide this update so it's not reapplied.

    You could also post comment to MS via the Feedback Hub app.
