I have a problem with a driver not allowing my keyboard or mouse to work at login. I made a backup of it without knowing it was going to screw up my computer. I am now reinstalling Windows 10 hoping I can restore from the backup, but the driver is installed on there. I believe I can view the contents of the image and delete the bad driver. Is there any way of restoring from the backup or is it gone?

Always a good idea to keep versions of your backups.
While that doesn't sound to be the case are you using Restore Points.
If so you should be able to boot this uncooperative installation into the Advance Startup Options and then do a system restore.
Power on, see the spinning dots, hold power switch until it dies. Power on, see dots, hold power switch until it dies.
Power on again and it should start advance startup options. Then troubleshoot, advance options, System Restore.

I tried but it didn’t work. I do have a backup from about a week ago so I might be okay. I can choose what folders and files I can restore. Should I restore everything but the drivers maybe? Is this the right category to ask?
If you have a backup from a week ago, and it does not have this bad driver, I would restore the whole thing. Windows and other apps like browser will get themselves back up to date.
The only thing to note is your data files will be from a week ago, for those you can go to your most current backup.
Not sure what you are using for backups but I would consider doing them before experimenting. Think we have all seen the smallest of change head south.
I myself use Macrium. Lots of third party tools out there, just not the one built into Windows.
If you still have a ps/2 mouse or keyboard and a desktop PC that they can connect to, you can try them to get into Windows 10. I heard that the ps/2 devices will bypass the USB drivers that might be causing the problem. (I've never tried it, but I watched a vid about it)
If you use a ps/2 mouse, you can click the Accessibility center button and bring up the virtual keyboard to log in. With a keyboard, you can use the arrow keys and enter Key as usual to login, and pressing tab will cycle through places you can't reach with the arrow keys (e.g. toolbars).
With keyboard, you can press Win+r, type "devmgmt.msc", and press enter to get to Device Manager. Then, right click with the menu key on the driver's that are broken.

Thanks for the help fellas. That's a good idea about the ps/2 mouse for future reference. I have my computer back to normal but Microsoft's slightly older Windows 10 installer from 2019 gave me a MAJOR HEADACHE AND SCREAMING MATCH. Like I knew it was because of a slightly older version of Windows 10 the installation wouldn't work?!? Why!? It worked last time!?! Hours upon hours of BS from Microsoft! Seriously, the average user would be DEAD IN THE WATER from what I was seeing during installation. Created on a BIOS and this is UEFI? Partitions not being able to be created?! UNINSTALL other hard drives or it won't install? What?!? It's 2020 Microsoft, you serious here?!? Sorry for the griping but I HATED getting this upset with this nonsense.
I'm using Ashampoo Backup now too after a FAILURE to recover when restarting the CPU from EaseUS Backup Workstation edition. Luckily I had a C: drive backup from Windows 10 backup settings to rely on for a semi-OK restore. The New Edge browser is now also slightly slower with a 7 point drop in Speedometer 2.0 for NO REASON. Do you guys know why this is the case? Same browser extensions are installed and I have a 10 second quicker computer boot time (a decent performance indicator for me personally right now). No ideas here.
