I have seen this problem come up a lot , but the problem still hasn't been solved .

My internal Bluetooth device shows up in my device manager under other devices , but i cant install any drivers . the driver it had was Realtek Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter , when trying to reinstall it it it shows the following

    Attachment 281070
I have the same thing. It has to do with services your BT devices are using when you connect them to the system. Here's my Bose NC700 Bluetooth headphones for example and the services used....

Internal Bluetooth detected in device manager, but cant install drivers-device-manager-other-items.png

This can be found my also visiting "Printers and Devices" and looking at "Devices". Right click them, click Properties, and if they have a "Services" tab, click it and note the services used. Note that they should correspond to what's in Device Manager under "Other". If you un-check them in "Services", they'll be removed from Device Manager.

See this (silent) YouTube video - Bluetooth Services in Windows 10 (Other devices in Device manager). I'd just leave them alone since; especially since I know what they are.

    Hope this helps

Unfortunately not , the difference between my problem and the problem in the video is his pc's built in Bluetooth adapter is installed an functioning normally , those services belongs to other devices . my pc on the other hand does not have other Bluetooth devices installed (i checked printers and devices) . the only Bluetooth adapter my pc has is the built in one . if you looked at my screen shots of the device manager in my original post you would see that the "only" Bluetooth device shown is the " Bluetooth Radio" under other devices .the device also has no hardware details such as model , manufacturer device id or signatures , and no drivers can be installed to it (ass explained in my previous post(s) . there is absolutely no option to switch on the Bluetooth , because any way you try to switch it on returns "there is no Bluetooth device detected on your computer" or ,"the Device or driver's associated with the task is not present on your system" . trying to Update or manually install drivers returns the message "the data is invalid" (can be seen in the screenshots on my original post) . And when running the troubleshooter for Bluetooth you get "the system is not capable of using Bluetooth" . running the recommended intel , hp and driverpack software (to update and install missing or outdated drivers) and all they have shown me is that all the drivers that are already on my system (excluding Bluetooth) is up to date . i have also done a clean boot disabling all non Microsoft services for encase one of them was conflicting with my Bluetooth but to no avail, i also ran malware bytes , windows defender and bought kaspersky total security to see if isn't caused by malware , after that i scanned the computer again in safe mode . so i'm confident its not being affected by viruses or malware of any kind . i also cant really say that its a hardware problem since it still gets detected by DM . i also know for certain that the pc does have a internal bluetooth adapter since it was still working a week ago , ass i mentioned in my previous posts the Bluetooth stopped working after i ran a system restore (which is weird since stuff like this usually happens when you update not when you role back , as far as i know ) i have literally tried to troubleshoot the problem in every way i can think of and still nothing . and all the information i found from other forums says that a lot of users got the same issue after the fall update for (don't know the specific date . and then again this also doesn't make sense since my pc worked fine with all the previous updates and only after a system restore (my scheduler creates a new restore point every time at startup) please check my original post Internal Bluetooth detected in device manager, but cant install drivers this is a screenshot of the the device manager in the youtube video , you can compare it mine in the above link Internal Bluetooth detected in device manager, but cant install drivers-annotation-2020-05-31-025235.png

thanks for all the trouble you guys are going through to help .

OK, yeah, looking at your image again, it looks like you have no Bluetooth device installed (also indicated by the troubleshooter).

With that are you sure there's a BT adapter installed/attached? That you have the correct drives? Is it possible the adapter has died or become faulty?

Also be aware your BT adapter isn't going to show up in Devices and Printers, just as your network card doesn't show there. What you'll see there is the devices connected to the PC via USB, BT, Wi-Fi, or networked.

Where you would (should) see the adapter is in Device Manager. In your case none is shown so that obviously indicates either a driver issue or the card is dead or faulty. Usually though a faulty or dead hardware item would show in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation point and a code number. What is the make and model of the PC?

If you are certain that your computer has a bluetooth device then it has probably either malfunctioned or its connection is faulty.
    - Re-check your computer specs to make sure you have bluetooth.
    - Have you ever had bluetooth in operation of this computer?
    - If you can get a service manual for your computer then you could lift out and then reseat your device to see if that helps.
    - Otherwise I'd say that it needs to be replaced.

lol , i know it wont be in device and printer i only mentioned that in terms of the youtube video that i was directed too . there is one bluetooth device detected in the device manager and thats the "bluetooth radio" , im pretty sure that its the internal adapter , since i uninstalled the device to see if the isue with the drivers goes away . and when restarted the "Bluetooth radio" re installs itself , and since there is no other devices conected it can only be the internal one . my isue is not finding the device or fixing it if its a hardware problem . my main problem is that no drivers can be installed , all the other device's drivers can be updated / installed except the Bluetooth driver (ass I've mentioned in every one of my posts no installation methods or third party apps can install the driver , none of them succeed in the installation) i might be wrong but i "think" that during the system restore , a file , service or maybe even a registry file was moved or corrupted (if that's even possible ), but of course if that's the case then i wont even know where to start looking for the "corupted /moved fobjects "

when the installation fails it says an error occurred while trying to install the driver but it gives no error code that i can use as a reference . isn't there any third party apps that can scan for either hardware or software errors and give a error code that i can use to more or less pinpoint where exactly the fault is ? and whether it is corrupted software/registry files or if its hardware ?

That "problem box" you're getting is alluding the wrong the drivers and being found or installed.

It would be of great use if you told of make and model of the PC in question.

Edit: Out of curiosity can you post an image of your Devices and Printers screen?

    Thanks.

msinfo32 isn't going to tell me anything I need. I need to see the Devices and Printers page.

Also, you need to get the BT driver from HP, NOT via Windows.
