    HP Hotkey Service Error

I've started getting the error shown blow on my HP laptop after updating various drivers. Has anyone else noticed the same problem and have a fix?

Re-install the application HP supplies for the Hotkeys which is presumably the function keys.

You may have a service stopped. Look in the Services tab of the Task Manager.

HP support says "HP Hotkey Support - UWP 7.0.15.0 dated Oct 2019" which is up to date.

Seems to be an update too far as it were...

    Hello @Steve C,

As you have updated various drivers, it might be worth checking to see if there are any errors reported, if any!

Download and run my enhanced find problem devices script => NEW VERSION ADDED BELOW!.

It creates a Prob_Devices.txt file on the Desktop!

    I hope this Helps!

There are two HP drivers on their web site labelled HP Hotkey Service UWP (the one which crashes) and HP Hotkey service. I reinstalled the latter and it has been fine so far. I'm unsure what the difference is between these.
