Serious question about realtek audio drivers ???

so guys over here MSI USA - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more a so called new driver has been posted for my audio realtek high def, but whats so wired about this is that it is a lower version of the audio driver i got from realtek this month. when they had no drivers posted, my version is this 6.0.1.7541 , the latest i do belive on realtek site released last month , now they have driver version 6.0.1.7534 if i recall this has been the one that has been on there for sometime but looks like they changed the dates on it and re released it. So on this note what should i do should i take a step back, or stay with the latest from realtek, will i gain anything from going to there version?. On the plus side i did get the newest ethernet drivers which was nice of them.

Similar story with Asus. The latest driver they posted is .7525, yet Windows 10 itself installed .7535. I have since just grabbed newer ones off of the Microsoft Update Catalog site, now using .7576. Personally I would use the latest one, not older ones from the motherboard site, unless of course the motherboard one has specially added features or a custom control panel you like.

Just go to catalog.update.microsoft.com - You do have to use Internet Explorer, because the site requires an addon named MicrosoftUpdateCatalogWebControl.dll that other browser can't use. Then you can search for "realtek audio" and sort by "last updated."

Looks like the latest one is now .7580.

    Welcome.

There are also even newer Realtek ethernet drivers there that restore a lot of driver settings (I noticed the one Windows 10 itself installed lacked Receive Side Scaling, e.g.).
