Do you mean USB 1.1 rather than 1.5?

But the Asus x470 vii hero seems to have USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 anyway ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO | Motherboards | ASUS USA

If you look at the mobo manual and on page 1-17, it shows the usb headers....1 is usb 2.0 and the other is usb 15 and then look at the voltages for each. They are completely different.
No such thing.
This cool mobo has USB 3.1 Gen 2 - nice.

So why does the manual say "USB 15" as it clearly states shows in post # 5? Next question, what is it for? From what I searched that USB 15 is for some Asus ROG Base system controller. Which seems now that Asus no longer makes.
With all due respect - did you actually read the page you referred to
Also, why would Asus install an item on a newly released board if they no longer support it
We're still just as confused with this port anomaly.......
Yes....I'm looking at the VIII Hero for myself.......
Thanks for the input.
These are USB 2 ports. USB1112 is ports 11 and 12 and USB15 is port 15.
