Could be you got a bad CPU.
I sure hope not! Me and Newegg had a problem with that with another CPU. They said I damaged it trying to install it. The CPU was obviously not the CPU for my board so I never took it out of the protector. They had someone at their place fat-finger the thing try to "inspect it" so I had to eat that one.(And it still doesn't fit anything I got.

Telling you that, I have to tell you how I ended up with it in the first place. I ordered the AORUS B450 Pro WiFi board, Vengence 2 X 8 GB, 16 GB of memory, and they had the "Customers who bought that board also bought... this CPU, and a bunch of other stuff, so I guessed hat it was compatible. Never looked at the socket type, and so, I bit, and ended up getting choked on it.

There, I got it out. Dumb huh? OK....

I had a quick look at one msi gt 710 specs, says support for 2 monitors.

Then there's mobo bios settings, graphics option to run as legacy (don't know if the 710 has gpt/uefi vbios) ?
Don't know either. I'd have to look at the manual. But, there are three display ports, VGA, HDMI and DVI-I. I have three on it as we speak.

    Do your fans spin?

Do you have any indication anything is alive inside the case? Power supply? Motherboard?

Looking at the CPU compatibility list for the board, it requires F40 or later to support the 3600. B450 AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.S.A. The latest version is F50.

    What's your BIOS version?

If it's a suitable rev, I suggest clearing the CMOS afetr swapping processors.

    Best of luck.

    Not exactly what I meant.

If you look in your BIOS right now, does it say :B20.0406.1

    Or F40?

    Or something else?

From the BIOS itself, not a Gigabyte website.

According to post 14, that won't do.

    You need F40 or better.
