Intel Driver & Support Assistant - Sorry, something went wrong ...
-
Just FYI: IDSA has been (silently) updated over the last couple of days to 20.5.20.3. Any joy?
It fixed one problem with my Yoga 920, it is now happy with the UHD Graphics 27.20.100.8190.
The 1st problem with the Dell XPS 8700 is still there.

That message makes me suspect JS-blocker interference occurring in the browser.
Looks like you need to allow an additional domain, if using NoScript or eMatrix.

Nothing to do with that. The scan work fine in 5 other computers, only fails on the one that has an old RST 14.8.16.1063 which in the latest available for this machine and was perfectly fine before last 2 versions of Intel DSA.
If I uninstall RST the scan runs.

If that's of any consolation: latest release of Proset Wireless drivers:
Download Windows(R) 10 Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel(R) Wireless Adapters
suddenly makes IDSA thinking - from earlier today onwards - that these drivers are out of date.
They're not, as evidenced in the link above - mine's AC3165 adapter:The 21.90.2 package installs the Windows® 10 Wi-Fi drivers for the following Intel® Wireless Adapters:
21.90.3.2 for AX201/AX200/9560/9260/9462/9461 (Only available in 64-bit version)
20.70.17.1 for 8265/8260 (Only available in 64-bit version)
19.51.29.1 for 7265(Rev. D)/3165/3168
Why Intel cannot keep drivers version numbers the same regardless of the target device is beyond me - warum einfach, wenn es auch kompliziert geht, I guess?
In either case Intel does not seem to compatible with itself...

My Lenovo Yoga 920 x64, with Intel 9260 updated fine yesterday to 21.90.2.1 for BlueTooth and 21.90.3.2 for Wi-Fi.

Another week, another update: v20.6.22.6 just pushed earlier today. Any change?
(issues in my earlier post above have kind-of fixed themselves few hours later and all was - and is - well since)

v20.6.22.6 now passes the scan, looks like they now skipped checking for Intel RST, because it is not showing in the list anymore.
-
Never spotted this change - on my dated laptop it's the same and IDSA only senses Intel graphics driver (and confirms it's up to date) despite the fact that there's also few other Intel bits and pieces in there (AC7260 wireless adapter for instance - it's flagged as EOL since May 2019).
I will check how things pan out on my PC tomorrow.

I still get "Sorry, something went wrong while trying to scan." with that version (after uninstalling the previous version with DSAuninstaller.exe).

Looks like you have a different problem than the one caused by the Intel RST, perhaps you should open a separate report with all the information about your system.
