64 GiG SanDisk USB Flash Drive Cant Recover The Partition I have made

I have a 64 gig SanDisk USB flash drive and a Windows 10 operating system. About a month ago I partitioned into 2-32gig partitions. Now I want to restore it to its original 64 gig capacity for a recovery disk. I use a program called DiskGenius to do this, and indeed when I restore the partition it shows it has 57 gig.
When I open Windows Explorer I see that it has 57 gig, so I begin the recovery disk. After a couple of days I get a message that I am out of space and I notice that the disk only has a capacity of 32 gig. I go back to DiskGenius to look at the capacity on the right-hand side of the program's screen and says it only has 32 gig, however, the capacity on the left side shows a total of 57 gig.
I have tried this 3 times and get the same result. I expect I am doing something wrong when I use the DiskGenius program and don't know what this is. HELP?

    Thanks

Open Command Prompt (Admin) and type
    Diskpart
    List Disk
Select Disk # ( # being the USB Disk Number)
    Clean
    Create Partition Primary
    format quick fs=ntfs
    Exit

Note: The Recovery Disk you made - recreated the 32GB Fat32 Partiton........

Good information given but be aware that Windows has issues with FAT32 and drives over 32GB in size, can't create partitions over that. I have 2 options, one is to repartition in a Linux machine using the installed GPARTED, download GPARTED LiveCD and create the bootable disc then boot to it or simply use Disk Management to delete the partition/s then create a new 64GB partition then format it as exFAT. FAT32 also has a limit of about 4GB for a single-file size.

I just got a Samsung 3.1 Flash Drive 256GB Fit Plus for $35 USB Works Great I formatted it to NTFS and use it for MR Backups.

Thanks, I have tried Diskpart. It formats the 32gig partition. I want to recover the full 64gig

You could format all 64GB if you used ExFat or ntfs, but if you want Fat32 then here are a couple of ways from the How-To Geek...

How to Format USB Drives Larger Than 32GB With FAT32 on Windows

The Clean command should of wiped out the partition table on the USB and the Create Partition command should of created a Primary partition with all the unallocated drive space.... So not sure why you still only have used 1/2 of the drive space

Thanks, Kyhi, I'll try it again.

Kyhi, I once again tried Diskpart and followed your instructions. It did as you said it would do and I could see I had recovered my 64gig partition, both there and in Windows 10. I again ran, "Create A Recovery Disk", and when it was finished I checked the USB drive for space. It reported that I had a 32gig USB drive with X amount of space left after the recovery.
So, I once again use Diskpart, and got the USB back to showing the full 64gig of space in both the Diskpart and Windows 10. This time, instead of running "Create A Recovery Disk", I copied around 1,600 songs to the disk and when it was finished, Diskpart and Windows 10 both showed I was copying to a 64gig USB drive???
Now, I am really baffled! My only thought was, "Does Windows "Create A Recovery Drive", have a limit on the size of the USB drive you use, and reconfigure the partition when you use it. I googled this and didn't find an answer.
    HELP?

"Does Windows "Create A Recovery Drive", have a limit on the size of the USB drive you use, and reconfigure the partition when you use it.
Yes it reformats the drive as Fat32 which has a 32 GB partition limit...
Thus only uses 1/2 the drives actual space... So yes it is a "Create A Recovery Drive" program limitation,

Kyhi, Thanks! That solves that problem. I can use a smaller USB drive now and put the 64gig to better use!
