    Mouse scroll wheel acting up

I use my scroll wheel all the time while browsing websites. Lately it gets stuck and have to click the left mouse button to continue. I replaced the battery and the problem continues. Also, my mouse pointer gets stuck allot. I use a Logitech M325 mouse. Is it the mouse or is it another Windows 10 thing?

Hi first thing I would do is try another mouse or try the mouse on another computer and see if the same thing happens

I don't have another mouse or PC to test this on at the present time.

This problem just happens using a web browser (Chrome with about 22 open tabs). When I am using a non-web application such as MS word or Outlook, my mouse is perfectly normal.

Have you tried other browsers? It could just be chrome.

Do you note any difference depending on distance from the receiver?

What is your CPU usage when this is happening?

This even happens in Outlook while looking at some emails that have many images.

The mouse is no more than 2 feet from the receiver. My CPU usage is around 15-20%.

As you mention the pointer sticking as well, it seems it's unlikely to be fluff or dirt inside the mouse affecting the scroll mechanism.

Sounds more like a wireless problem perhaps. See if you can borrow a different type of mouse for comparison.
