How do I remove a printer for windows 10 registry

Hi Guys, Please stay safe during this Virus outbreak.

I'm the owner and sole users of this PC and setup with Administrative Rights in settings.

I've just installed a new printer on my PC HP 5200 series on Windows 10 1909. It's connected currently on USB cable. I thought I removed my older HP 4635 but it was setup as a WiFi network printer. Evidently I deleted it properly, and I can still see it if I go to Control Panel>Programs and Features, so I tried to delete the file there. But I get an error saying I done have Administrative rights.

Note: I can see the new printer, but if I click on it, it doesn't show the menu to set the default...
Only a menu to open and a few other items.

To see if I could fix this I looked at the system registry see screen shot.

How do I go about deleting and old printer from the system registry? Can I clear any default while in there?
Do I need to delete data from other sections of the registry?

    Hello Jim,

If you haven't already, you might see if an option in the tutorial below to remove a printer may also remove it from the registry.

What you see in Control Panel > Programs and Features is most likely installed printer software or driver. Did you try to uninstall this while signed in to an administrator account?

Is the printer still showing up in Devices and Printers or other areas within Windows 10?

I managed to get the new HP printer to work on USB. HP doesn't tell you that there is a code number on the printer screen that you needed to recognize the printer.

On the matter of using the system registry to uninstall a networked printer. I tried the uninstall from the printer icons you from the list after clicking the start button. This was a big mistake.
BOTTOM LINE IS NEVER UNINSTALL A NETWORKED PRINTER THIS!
The uninstall didn't work right. Microsoft need to fix this so there is only one way to uninstall a network printer.
