suddenly no USB devices recognized by W10 and won't autorun

Since I connected some external HDD which uses 2 USB ports,I got an error.
I plug in USB device to 3.0 ports,I do get light ON on external HDD,but I don't see any of the devices in My Computer nor even USB memory stick.
So I went to check device manager and here is what I see (picture below).
The only way is to scan for hardware changes in device manager and W10 recognizes the device immediatly, but I want to revert to the classic way just like it worked before (normally) when you plug in USB device.

Above the box where you type your post is a toolbar, there is a link for uploading screenshots, please use that rather than links to external hosting sites.

Looking at the image, it appears the HDD is using the write caching (better performance) policy and so needs ejecting with the safe removal icon in the notification area of the taskbar. Once safely removed you need to unplug then re plug the device to have it recognised again. If you want to change the policy to quick removal. open device manager, expand disk drives, right click the HDD, choose properties, choose policies, uncheck better performance, make sure quick removal is checked, apply.
