Drivers, can't tell which but some driver has been advanced to the point where some subtle no longer works.
I very much doubt it.
As I understand it MS will give us greater control over driver updates. That said the changes the manufactures have made, which potentially are causing your issue, are likely to be built on, not regressed.
Do you need hibernation?
I gave up on a Intel AC 7260 card, just no go.
Now that said I was having issues with an old desktop with built in graphics. Would sleep but you could never wake screen. Device would wake. Then after about a year it started to wake after one clean install so you never actually know.
Have you reported on Feedback Hub. Worth a shot.
