Can't Change RAM Frequency in Bios

Where do you see 2400MHz ? Look at CPU-Z CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID in Memory TAB.

Or just right click the taskbar, choose task manager, click the performance tab, then click memory.

What speed does it say the memory is running at.

After you make the change and save it, does the Bios actually tell you it made the change before you reboot ?

Looks like you might have RAM sticks in wrong places since it shows that they are running in single channel mode. According to manual they should be in A2 and B2 slots.

Do you have a link to the specific RAM modules you have installed?

Also, run CPU-Z again, and this time post the "SPD" tab. This tell use what speeds the modules are capable in XMP. Here's mine....



My modules are rated at 3600MHZ, and going by the above - XMP shows 1798, but since the modules are running in dual channel that would be 2 x 1798 = 3596 (rounded to 3600)....

Yes, that is what I noticed too.

Could that be the issue ?
