I wouldn't advise setting RAM manually since it's a bit more complicated since you have to set not only speed, but timings, and voltage.

So you're willing to walk to OP through the BIOS in setting the RAM manually??? Do they have the same BIOS setup as your board? What of the other timing settings - do you leave those AUTO or do they need tweaking?

As I said, you could read (download) your owner's manual and see how to properly set XMP in the BIOS. There should be no need to manually set the RAM if XMP is supported.

Your system specs says ASUS TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING yet the manual you post shows a EX-H310M-V3 R2.0 (Intel board)

Evidently I read your system specs and missed you're actually talking about an Intel board in your post. That said, if the manual isn't clear, then there's nothing I can add since I don't know that BIOS.
