That is all correct. That is what I stated. Each partition will be a drive that can be assigned a drive letter. Such partitions can be deleted/ extended/ merged and it is a child's play as many have suggested here. I don't think the OP does not know this.
I have a doubt what the OP means is that the two partitions appear as two separate disks. Hence the request for a screenshot of Windows Disk Management - result of reading too much or too little into anything that I read.
