Anyone have an estimate for how long it'll take for my battery to drain out in hibernation if it's set to move to that mode at 1% battery level?

Calibrated the battery and the charge is stuck at 82% - 15 min to full charge.

Removing the battery operations are next.

So I never got around to removing the battery but the battery light changed from orange to green a little while ago. The task bar battery window appears stuck at 2 min to charge and 97%. Any ideas what this is about?

    Thanks

If you can dismantle the battery box, then it is possible to remove the existing pack and replace them,it only takes one failed battery to prevent a fully charged state. For example,a 7.2v pack has 6x1.2v ni-cad,or other type, connected in series,as used in power tools and they do not last forever.
Depending on the manufacturer, either easy or a pain to overhaul.
As an aside,no reply to Post 10 was ever received, perhaps this is different----ever the optimist.

Thanks. I did check the battery the way you suggested in post 10 but didn't really understand the results.

If a report is difficult to follow, try searching Microsoft's tech site,or Google etc,or asking on this site,we are all continually learning.
There's no shame in not knowing, only politicians have all the answers, especially to their own questions.
As previously suggested, remove the battery, then test it,or have it done for you and test the charger with the battery removed.
If the battery is faulty, either replace if possible or repair the pack.

    Thanks.

I just noticed that my task bar battery icon says "fully charged 100%"

Anyone have an idea about this?!

That's what all of mine say when fully charged, sometimes there may be a time included such as 2 hours, etc.

Yes, but for weeks my battery was suck at 87% or so with an orange battery light so I'm wondering how it's now fully charged or at least is telling me so.

    Same Issue

Hi there, I know this is a long shot but I seem to be having the exact same issue as you, where it stops charging and then will go up by 1% when I unplug and plug the charger back in. Did you manage to find out what the issue was here or did it just fix itself?

My battery died some time after my last post. Not sure how long after. Still using just a power cord.
