MSR Size Curiosity - GPT secondary disks

Sorry - But I see nobody that has ever exceeded more than 5 partitions with no MBR partition.

The challenge is let see them ?

PS since we have win 7 and earlier version posters, I want to see more than 5 partitions on a drive that has NO MSR Partition ???

A GPT drive allows for a nearly unlimited number of partitions. Again, the limit here will be your operating system - Windows allows up to 128 partitions on a GPT drive. And they are all primary. There is no logical partition on a GPT drive.

No, I don't use encryption.

I've repeated the diskpart clean and GPT initialisation using Disk Management on a legacy MBR system with Windows 10 Home - same results.

It would be interesting to discover why it's not being created on Megahertz machine. Just to know if it can be toggled with some setting change.

Edit:
Just noticed that Megahertz has Lumbuntu on his system. Could a Linux Distro on the system explain the behavior?

No encryption on my system either. My system disk (disk1) has no MSR partition. It was a MBR based system and I used "MBRtoGPT" command. Disks (3) and (4) were new drives and Disk management was used to initialize them and they have the 16mb MSR partition.
