Shouldn't music only be stereo anyway? What are you using to play the music with?

So, download the driver and extract the zip file, which you probably have already done. In Device Manager, right click on the C-Media sound card, update driver software, browse my computer for software driver, make sure Include Subfolders is checked, point it to the folder where you extracted the downloaded driver to, click next and see what happens.

Well, we ain't done yet :-). Go back to control panel, then System and Security, then System. On the left column, click Advanced System Settings. In the window that opens, click the hardware tab. Then the Device Installation Settings box. Then click "No, let me choose what do", Then click "Never install driver software from Windows Update" and save changes. That will keep Windows 10 from install it's own device drivers, overwriting the manufacturer driver you installed and breaking it again.
