    Hello again.

    @dalchina:

    First , let me start by saying this... ...this new listing for " "DVD RW (F:) (Powered Off)" under "This PC" "Devices and drives" only appeared after my Windows 10 Pro x64 upgrade on my the same PC (my Lenovo ThinkPad T510) from Windows 7. It never appeared before this under "This PC" "Devices and drives".

    Hello. To answer your question, "In Win 7 did you have any programs providing virtual drives? E.g. Poweriso, Magiciso etc etc". I do not have any installed as I have said in my previous message. Actually, during the whole time I had Windows 7 Pro x64 on this same PC, I never installed any virtual machine or sandboxes before the Windows 7 upgrade. ..and as I said before, I have not to date with my Windows 10 Pro x64.

    Now, regarding your concerns about the ThinkPad Power Manager. After I immediately upgraded to Windows 10 Pro x64, I see in my system tray my native Lenovo battery indicator is missing. I read online that yes, Windows 10 does not support it as it did in Windows 7 as I wondered why it went missing. I did end up uninstalling the ThinkPad Power Manager along with a few other Lenovo utilities, except some Intel programs for CPU and other hardware-related software. If I look at my "Apps &features" listing for all programs installed, I do not have any listing for Lenovo software as I removed it after the Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 for incapability issues too. So there is no ThinkPad Power Manager. I even used Revo Uninstaller (a more thorough program listing program) and it shows no more Lenovo software installed on this Windows 10 PC.

    Also, I find DLL files (PWMTR32V.dll, PWMTR64V.dll) missing inside the folder: C:\Program Files (x86) \ThinkPad\Utilities. NOTE: There is no ThinkPad folder under C:\Program Files. Were these removed when I uninstalled ThinkPad Power Manager after I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro x64? Sounds like there were removed during the uninstall.

    @sygnus21: Hello. Nice to meet you! Yes, I will do something with the low free drive space soon. I appreciate your concern.

    Please reply with any solutions, thank you!

    I did... fix the low disk space. Not only is the low disk space limiting Windows' ability to expand, but low disk on an SSD drive lowers disk performance.

    Thank you!

    fix:
    1)unistall dvd drive power off under devices and drives
    2)go to registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Lenovo\PWRMGRV\Data\AutomaticOddDisable

    3)Set AutomaticOddDisable to 0 and the drive will no longer be powered off.
    4)restart your machine
