Don't need to put them on CD, download them and run them once they are downloaded. Usually a .EXE file, just double click on them to start the install.

I see that there are Windows 7 drivers for the board, but mainly for X64. Support For B450-A PRO MAX | Motherboard - The world leader in motherboard design | MSI Global

As regards the USB connectors, did you try the USB 2.0 ones? (They're the ones under the PS/2 port in the rear I/O panel.)

I must apologize. I scanned the thread much too quickly.

Did the OP try your suggestion? I don't see whether that happened. (There's a whole lot of flailing goin' on.)

Yes, tried the usb 2.0 ports, they were the 2 black ones beside the ps/2 port and no luck.
Though 1 other problem I had was the network icon had a red x but now for some reason network is working.....but it's a bugger trying to surf with a keyboard , keyboard is ps/2.
I will buy a ps/2 splitter and a ps/2 mouse and get drivers from MSI for board and hopefully usb ports will work.....
    Cheers

If the black USB 2.0 ports are not working, then you have more problems than just a driver, I am afraid. Is legacy USB support enabled in the BIOS?

You could try asking on sevenforms, plenty of people running win7 on Ryzen 3400g , 3700x , etc

there are drivers for 300/400 boards available, easier to do when you have the mouse on ps2 :

    without the vega video drivers:

Hi , I upgraded my Mb and cpu ....MSI B450 A pro max and AMD Ryzen 3200G.
My OS is Windows 7 and was surprised to find out after adding these that 7 is not supported hence why usb ports have no drivers, think that's why usb stick is not showing on my computer, also my wireless mouse of course is also unusable.
So my question is can I borrow a windows 10 disc and add my windows 7 product code..would this work as an upgrade?
My keyboard is working because lucky enough that's ps/2 connection..only one ps/2 connection on Mb board .
So folks I am a bit lost here,I am no expert on these matters, hence why I am here, so any good suggestions will be greatfull.
    Cheers

There is another set for 300/400/500 series motherboards which includes apu video drivers and also supports psp11 Zen2, if you need that
