Keyboard weird.

I had a problem where apostrophes would transpose and question marks would have a plus sign in front of them.

It was absolutely doing my head in.

I glanced at something that suggested WINDOWS KEY plus SPACE BAR.

I tried it and that half solved the problem. Then I did SHIFT plus CONTROL and that cured the problem completely.

If anyone else has a keyboard acting weirdly all of a sudden where.............

and other weird shit happens...............MICROSOFT BUTTON plus SPACE BAR might just be the solution along with CTRL plus SHIFT.

Looks like you have a dirty keyboard that misbehaves. You can use an air spray to blow it and also there are some keyboard cleaning kits (special sponge and cleaning liquid) if you want to clean it. If we are talking about a standard desktop keyboard, you could also take a photo of the key layout and then remove and wash the keys. Let them dry thoroughly, blow the empty keyboard with an air spray and then carefully put the keys back. I would avoid removing any large keys (space, shift, enter) because they are tricky to put them back. I would only remove the smaller square keys. Of course even better and even easier is to get rid of that keyboard and buy a new one.

Made account only to reply to you mate. This has troubled me for more then a month. Had to reset my PC everytime. Somehow your solution helped.
