I am trying to check to see if my drivers are ok, before I update to Win 10. Not quite sure how to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Be kind,lol, I am 74 yrs old and still learning TIA

Hit upgrade if there is any major problems it will disable them. All drivers are replaced so you can check anyway
As Sumuria said, Windows 10 has a good deal of drivers it can use to install most common hardware. If you have a typical PC you can be confident that the Windows 10 upgrade will complete with at least basic drivers for your hardware.
However, in some cases you might want or need a driver specific to a particular piece of hardware, or you might want to know if there is a newer/better driver for that hardware.
To check, you would go to the hardware manufacturer's website, find your hardware product, go to the support page for the product, and look for 'Drivers" or "Downloads" or similar to find what they have to offer.
You can make note of the driver version number and date, or you can download the driver so you have it. Then after Windows 10 is installed you can check Device Manager to see if there are any devices with question marks that require drivers and the install them.
Or you can check the Properties of the device and on the Driver Tab check the version and date of the installed driver to compare to your list. (Device Manager > Expand the hardware section > right click on the device > choose Properties > go to the Drivers Tab).
Ignore the Windows 7 drivers information you have now. Those will be replaced.
You could get more specific help if you fill in more details about your PC model.
It may even be possible to check whether Dell supports a Windows 10 upgrade on the PC. If Dell does not, that doesn't mean that the machine won't run perfectly well under Windows 10. They just don't offer the resources to support the PC.
If it's running Windows 7 X64, it is likely that it will go to 10 without trouble.

3) Drivers for third party software may or may not work when switching operating systems. (It is trial and error and the software may need to be replaced)
You can download and create a live boot disk for Win 10 and see what happens. This is a very useful tool for certain repair actions when things go wrong.

That would give you some basic idea without installation and give you a useful tool, but is not the same as installing Win 10.
Any older PC for which the manufacturer does not supply Win 10 drivers is upgraded to Win 10 at the owner's risk- no guarantees.
If the upgrade succeeds, fine: upgrades which fail are extremely difficult to diagnose. A few older PCs may find certain hardware has no support in Win 10. A few may find one build of Win 10 works, the next not (each new build delivers a new set of drivers which may include changes).
Occasionally it's necessary to use an older driver than the one provided with Win 10.
Thank you all for the info. Right now every time I go to Microsoft site, I cannot get in, this has been going on for 2 days now, also wife cannot get into Pinterest. Everything else works fine. I am getting some help tomorrow with getting Win 10 installed, I am afraid I will do something wrong. I do not know if I mentioned I am using the Free one(already have my Official windows 7 serial #. I did download Media Creation Tool 1909, not sure what it does,but my neighbor told me to download it.... There must be more than that I need, correct ? Thanks, much appreciated.

Option 1 shows it being used to create a bootable disk which you can use to
- clean install Windows
- upgrade Windows
- perform an in-place upgrade repair
- perform certain functions using it as a boot disk (system restore, command prompt etc)
Select a different option at (8) to create an iso file which you can use to
- upgrade Windows
- perform an in-place upgrade repair having mounted it
In other words I can create a disk(DVD) to than add Windows 10? Would a regular size DVD work? The ones I have save
4.7gb on them? I am probably making this harder than it is on myselfI was thinking by running just that tool it would add Win10 for me and I would be all set. I do not care if it is a clean install or not..... Thanks so very much
You can create a DVD, but most folks find using a USB thumb drive easier, and the Microsoft Media Creation Tool you would use to do a free upgrade to Windows 10 would create one for you very easily.
You just need to have an 8GB thumb drive that is empty. The installation files will erase everything on the thumb drive.
