Thank you all for the replies, Will do the tests, and a Full format if i must after backup, and then restore the Image, and hopefully thats all it ends up being misidentified sectors, as this drive isn't that old, Maybe 1-2 years, or 3 at the most, not exactly sure.

Used for all my games, music, and data, that doesn't go on the SSD drive

Backup doing shortly here with Macrium Reflect, then rest of the stuff

**All i've been doing lately, is doing a few OneDrive uploads of some purchased former Xbox music/Groove Music i got years ago when i had Windows phone, ((got some free albums back then every Friday lol, and alot one Christmas season lol, 96gb worth lmao, plus other purchased music from Amazon music over the years. Could that be why maybe it was pushed too hard, not sure if it copies a local copy also in Onedrive folder on that drive as well

Try Hard Disk Sentinel (Trial) (SSDs too)- it gives the clearest immediately intelligent commentary right on its GUI I know. In once case it even commented on the connecting lead- and proved correct.

If you handle disks a lot, this is worth getting. (Some giveaways- and an occasional prize competition with 1Tb disk).

Your screenshot shows 7,388 hours powered on (about 10 months). More importantly the Loaded Hours (DE) will tell you how many hours it was in active use (not just spun down and on standby).

I think a full format is the only sure way to clear (or reallocate) the pending sectors. Hopefully they were all misidentified, as mine were.

Yeah thinking Full Format only way to clear it now, tiny bit nervous, but Image is done of that problem drive, Guess i should fire up External first and Image also the Samsung SSD in case restore of the Storage drive doesn't go well lol. Not Done many restores with Macrium Reflect--so tiny bit nervous on that aspect lol, but will be like no guts no glory shortly here LOL

I have done hundreds (I've lost count now) all completely successful. Macrium would have reported if any sectors had read errors, so you should be confident that the image is good.

A full format is painfully slow, like watching paint dry - you'll need to be patient....

Don't worry about the Macrium restore. They are very reliable. One note.... when you made the Macrium backup, did you verify it as part of the process? If not, you may want to verify it first before attempting any restore. Need help with that, just ask. Most all here know how to.

Yes I Auto Veritfied Image on The Problem Drive One, and The SSD One, Now to find my Macirum Reflect Rescue USB Drive, and make sure that is accessible, i assume i restore using that after the Full format is done. Hopefully all goes well, think i 90 percent know what to do for the Restore portion lol, Imaged both drives just in case though

Not mother-henning you, but if it's beena while since you used that Thumb drive, I would test to make sure you can boot from it, and don't have to make a fresh one. After the format may be the wrong time.....

Ii think that's what you said, in other word. oops.

Well right now it says "GPT Format Not supported to even attempt to make one lol, 1st one i tried that i knew was Macrium Reflect USB drive, wouldn't boot lol, ((Haven't started the storage drive full format yet, making sure got rescue media working first lol)

System does have UEFI bios, so not sure what going on lol

Unless i just add boot menu option, and attempt thru that, but can always try another usb stick if need be lol, ((this one for some strange reason only has 249mb left lol))
