I took a look, for a minitool that came out in 2020, the examples shown in the video below the download button were for windows 7. I wonder if it would mess things up more than they already are, or force me to yet again do a system restore.
Much more current YouTube vid. Take a look. It includes the new wrapper option.

I had a look, without anyone talking about what they were doing and the fact that the video was in a different language made it bit hard to understand. But maybe I'll download it and just try it out for myself. Hopefully I won't mess things up, I'm not as computer savvy when it comes to things like this. Thank you for the more recent video though, I appreciate your help.

I’ve used this tool on occasions with Win 10 & had no problems.

Thanks for the input, I'll download it and see if I'm smart enough to use it.

Have you looked at my issues @Porthos? I noticed you said you repair computers for a living. I would really appreciate it.

I use Windows Update MiniTool to hide driver updates.

Here is why the thread was abruptly ended. I am not going to insulting anyone, just plain facts that you can draw your own conclusions.

The board deleted several of my posts in this thread for insulting the OP. I believe that the board staff has a right to delete my LAST post for insulting the OP. However the board staff is incorrect to delete my other posts --- one post was even "peer reviewed" by Matthew Wai as I was on the OP's ignore list so he reposted my solution so that the OP can see it.

The OP posted his last entry telling the board that his problem has been solved, does not need any further help and marked the thread as problem solved. No explanation on how he solved his problem.

I then posted a post speculating that since there were no other heroic solutions offered by other ten forums members, the OP sat on his laptop for a day without touching it, system restoring it, and thus allowing time for Microsoft Store to eventually download the Synaptics TouchPad app.

Not allowing time for the Microsoft Store to automatically pull and install the Synaptics TouchPad app was the technical explanation I posted, peered reviewed by Matthew Wai, and reposted by Matthew Wai so that the OP can read it. That post is now deleted by the board staff.

After I posted my one speculation, the OP deleted his last post.

You can draw your own conclusion on why the OP deleted his last post and whether my speculation was correct or not.
