Printer Folder is empty-40263-dsc_0849.jpgSo I have good news and bad news

Good news are that now I can boot to Win10. I left this Easy Recovery Essentials: Bootable Windows repair and recovery CD and USB to make all the job and repair MBR

Bad news are that I returned to the beginning. My Win 10 work perfect except Printers.
I can see all my devices into Start / Settings / PC Settings / Printers & scanners but Start / Settings / Control Panel / Printers is empty.
And off coarse I cannot print (see attached photos)

So have you any idea about this issue ?

Ok, have you tried installing the printer driver manually? What is the make, model of your printer- does it have a Win 10 (x64 bit?) compatible driver?

Can you quote its driver page?

See if you can get one printer configured on that PC.

    Hello

My system is member of local network with 5 more windows computers and 9 network printers and plotters.
Also this is a dual boot system with Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10 Pro
    Windows 7 work perfect.
Windows 10 worked perfect until few days ago that I tried to print a file to default printer. Saw an error message like "before you can print you have to install a printer"
So I mentioned that Printers Folders was empty ! Even in PC settings / Printers & scanners or Control Panel / Devices & Printers.
Looking for solution I tried to follow these instructions Fix Devices and Printers Folder is Completely Empty in Windows 7
Step 1 was the easy one.
In step 2, I got: ā€œThe module C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ieproxy.dll failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems withe the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found"
I had to copy ieproxy.dll to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder to complete this step .
In step 3 I got an error ā€œcannot import c:\User\pc1\ā€“\msxml6.reg not all data was successfully written to registry. Some keys are open by system or other processesā€ but I mentioned that all entries were already there.
Also checked that C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS folder was empty

So have you any other idea ?

As you can see in my first post I have many printers and all of them have (x32 bit) drivers
If I try to add any manually I see an error message like "before you can print you have to install a printer"

Fine, I didn't know if you still had the same problem.

I have no precise idea, but you might try this:
    Printer Folder is empty-1.png
    - Driver Booster's 'Clean unplugged device data'

This helped in a different and unrelated problem.

Exactly how are you trying to install a printer?

Perhaps you have to remove remnants of old printer installations.

    Finally I solved my problem

At the moment could boot to Win10 I searched about Spooler issues.

Taking advantage of Win7 installation and thanks to How to Remove a Corrupt Printer Driver from Windows - PrintsPoolerServices Step 2, I replaced the following Win10 registry entries with corresponding Win7 entries

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Print > Environment > Windows NT x86 > Drivers
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Print > Environment > Windows NT x86 > Print Processors
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Print > Monitors
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services > Spooler

    and my printers came back

Thank you Dalchina for your suggestions and for your patience
