Trying to install a WIN 10 Pro 64b non compatible laser printer

Hi, Recently i´ve just ran out of my old dear Win 7 Ultimate (to my great regret... it was workin' so nice for years!) to migrate to Win 10 Pro v.1909. It has been a clean installation & all hardware worked correctly, so far so good except ...my printer. Suddenly i´ve found out i´m the owner of a Canon LaserShot LBP 1120 drivers orphan printer. & the worst of all is i´ve done a general maintenance -including change of replaceable parts & toner cartridge- just a month ago !!! Now it´s a brand new & shimmering printer that doesn't work although it was recognized by system (when plugged in) as Canon CAPT usb printer in Dev. Manager. Canon has reported the printer as Non-compatible model, there´s no Win 10 64b drivers available & i´m wondering if there´s a trick or a hidden procedure out there that i haven't discovered yet. So please, i'm all ears in my way to try to solve this issue. Thanks a lot in advance for any helping hand...

Well, the bad news is it was supported for Win 7 32 bit and not 64 bit. No Win 8 or 10 support.

@z3r010 - hi- maybe you could help TShooter? Thanks!

    There are sites like this:
Canon Laser Shot Lbp1120 Driver Download 2020 Version
but absolutely no guarantee whatsoever. Beware.

You could try a driver updater tool such as Drivermax and see if they find anything.

    Try this:
Find the most recent Windows drivers for that printer (Windows 7 32 bit) and save the file/folders to the desktop or somewhere easy to find.

    • Plug in the printer (USB I assume)
    • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
    • Click: Add a Printer
    • Click on "The printer I want isn't listed" to stop searching
    • Choose: Add a Local Printer option
    • Choose the next available USB Virtual Printer Port
    • Install Driver window > Click: Have Disk
    • Browse to the folder with the driver files in it > Choose the .inf file > Next

And see if it will install that way.

Most likely, you will get an error message trying the above method (but stranger things have worked).
If you do here are a couple of potential solutions:

Hello everybody: First of all thanks to Dalchina, @z3r010 & TV2 !...in order don't use this link :Canon Laser Shot Lbp1120 Driver Download 2020 Version it ain't safe at all & harmful scanned with VirusTotal. First process indicated by TV2 doesn't work. As soon as system detects a 32b driver.inf file does not allow to run it stopping installation. I will keep on trying with the 2nd one & i shall post results later...Thank U guys
