    3 coolers for Ryzen 5 3600

    Cooler for a Ryzen 5 3600:
1)How much better (temperature wise) are Alpenfoehn Sella (Sella - Alpenfohn) and Cryorig H7 (CRYORIG H7 | Research Idea Gear) compared to Wraith Stealth (stock cooler)?
2)Alpenfoehn Sella vs Cryorig H7: Which is better and how much?
    Thanks

There was a discussion a few days ago about coolers for the Ryzen 5 3600
Ryzen 5 3600 and air cooling

Edit: HaHa, I just clicked on that link and it's YOUR thread :)

I wouldn't expect either of them to be better than the stock wraith cooler as they both are air based coolers just like the wraith. If your wraith cooler fails or needs to be replaced... then you might want to look at one of these. But I wouldn't get these just for the sake of seeing "if it cools any better".

I have read many bad things concerning the temperatures of Ryzen 5 3600 with the stock cooler. I need a new one.
Example: Alpenfoehn Sella CPU Cooler Review

Just get an R7 3700x - why are you stuck on that R5?

    Edit:
I don't quite understand what AMD was thinking..(with that crappy cooler) either they were over-confident with 3rd Gen or just had no confidence in that CPU selling and brought the price down ...

What you want then is the wraith prism or wraith max cooler. The stock one for the 3600 doesn't look all that great but the prism & max both have better reliability.

    Are those available at retail?

I see the Wraith Prism from a third party seller at Newegg (USA), but they want $50 for it. A bit high, I'd think, since you can get a better aftermarket cooler for half that.

Probably because of the price difference. One is $190 and the other is $330

Hmmm.. The 3700X must have gone up in price since I last checked.

This, OTOH, seems like good alternative (price-wise)

    List Price: $329.00
Price: $178.89 + $53.60 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to United Kingdom Details
    You Save: $150.11 (46%)
