Kinda like amd apu setting but for intel.

So, to start, in general terms, AMD APUs are basically just a general purpose CPU with a built-in GPU. Each of these components serves a different purpose but they are simply integrated into the same physical die.

In the case of a system with a seperate CPU and GPU the fact that they each serve a different purpose still holds true except that they are two seperate pieces of silicon.

So the short answer - No, you cannot make them equal. They are 2 different things.

A CPU and GPU are very different and designed for different purposes. A GPU is a very specialized kind of CPU designed primarily for graphics but can be used for some other things as well.

A CPU has capabilities suitable for a wide variety of purposes and is fast. It can do everything a GPU can do and much more.

A GPU is designed to do many simple things at the same time. It works well for graphics where the same calculations are done on a large amount of data. For these things it can have very impressive benchmarks. But it's capabilities are limited. For much of what a CPU does a GPU is utterly helpless.

A GPU is a good assistant to a CPU where it's specialized capabilities make it useful.

    The simple answer is no.
The CPU and iGPU are different designs but physically on the same die/piece of Silicon.
The iGPU is specially designed for the Graphics functionality. The CPU for general use.
Whilst the functionalities of the iGPU can be emulated by the CPU and software this is a lot slower than using the much faster iGPU hardware.

No, that is not the same thing at all, the ALU is just one of many component parts of a CPU or iGPU.
