Ryzen 5 3600 and air cooling

    I will buy a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU.
I've read many people saying the stock cooler is not good. I want to get an air cooler.
The place I will buy the CPU from has only the following cooler brands:
    Alpenfohn, Asus, Corsair, Fazn, NZXT

Has anybody tried one of those brands on a Ryzen 5 3600 for AIR cooling?
If yes, what was the exact model and what were the results (temperatures, noise)?

    Thanks

I can recommend the Scythe Mugen 5, it's an effective cooler and easier than most to install.

Thanks, but as I wrote, I must choose one of the brands I mentioned.

The reason is not important. Just consider this as a prerequisite please.

Sounds like you have this under control then.

I just need information from somebody who has experience with Ryzen 5 3600 + air cooling with Alpenfohn, Asus, Corsair, Fazn or NZXT.

If you mean the Corsair AIOs, then I've had a couple of those. They do the job. I have a Corsair H100 SE Platinum cooling my Ryzen 3900x at the moment.

Thanks but I need air cooling, not AIO.

Any air cooler with 4 heat pipes and minimum 120mm fan(s) should do it and let you OC by good amount. Things to watch out for, height to fit the case and if it has mounting kit for AM4. TDP is only 65W and all coolers with those specs can soak over 100w of TDP.
