    How to disable palm rejection

I'm trying to disable palm sensitivity on this laptop. It's very annoying since it prevents me from using the touchpad for a short amount of time right after typing. I looked online and it says that apparently I have to look into device settings after clicking the "Mouse" menu in the Control Panel, but I don't see any tab that says device settings after I click the Mouse menu that was spoken of. Therefore I can't seem to be able to access the Synaptics menu from the desktop like I have been able to on other Windows devices. Any help on this issue would be very much appreciated!

Hi, here's my Lenovo Thinkpad touchpad- yours may well look different (screenshot please) as there are different versions of Synaptics GUI.
I had to click Advanced twice to see this, which is what you want:

I'm not sure how to even access the Synaptics Control Panel. There used to be a way that I could just click on the desktop and access it from there on other devices, but I guess that's not an option on this one, and therefore there's nothing to screenshot.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Another way: Settings, search mouse, Mouse Settings, Addditional Mouse Options

If you don't have a driver properly installed, uninstall from here, if possible, and restart to reinstall it and then retry.

I think you don't have a Synaptics driver installed. What do you have here?

I pointed you to this in my previous post..

    Is Windows Update working?

Lenovo has a useful System Update tool:
    Lenovo System Update for Windows 10 (32-bit, 64-bit), 8.1 (32-bit, 64-bit), 8 (32-bit, 64-bit), 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) - Desktop, Notebook, Workstation - GB

    Do you have that installed?

I don't understand what you mean when you ask what I have here. I'm also not sure what you're trying to imply by reminding me of a post you made earlier when my memory works fine and if I ever were to forget I could always scroll up just like anyone could. As far as I know Windows Update is working fine since I just had an update less than a week ago. Also why would I use an updating tool made by Lenovo if I specifically stated my laptop is manufactured by Hewlett, not Lenovo. If the software would still work and you'd like me to try it anyway then I'll go ahead and do that. Let me know what I should do.

I just looked up top and it doesn't seem to be specified that my laptop is manufactured by Hewlett, which is strange because I remember including that info as clearly as I remember my own name, but I guess something might have gotten messed up on the website, or maybe with my internet, browser, etc. Anyways the model is hewlett pavilion x360 convertible 14m-dh1xxx.
