Hi ......this is a Normall 3TB HDD 7200rm but the funny thing ever since I bought this pc it never showed 3TB

The year of manufacture of the WD drive shown in the picture is Sep 2015. It is impossible for it to be an MBR drive. If from the time you bought it it was not showing 3TB , why are you not returning it? It looks like an used, manipulated and defective HDD. Please take up the matter with the store.

The drive is almost 100% certain to be defective.

If you run a program that will display the model # information of the drive, it would be very interesting to see what it comes up with.

Run CrystalDiskInfo. That will read the true make, model number, size and serial number from the drive's firmware. See if any of them match what is on the label. I use the portable apps version.

The stickers/ numbers on the hard drive mean nothing if they are stuck on a 256GB drive, which seems to be the situation. A program such as Crystal Disk Info which reads the information from the controller board will tell you the real story.

Hey, Firas, all indicators show that drive to a 240gig drive which will show up in Windows as 223gig.

See this post - Does 240GB ssd show up as full 240GB? | Tom's Hardware Forum. And a 256gig drive would show up as 238.47 which is what shows for my 256gig SSD drive.

Anyway what makes you think the drive is supposed to be a 3TB drive? BTW brand and model number would help.

The OP gave a link to a photo of the drive in post #9: https://i.imgur.com/cQO4ySt.jpg

It is clearly labelled as a 3TB WD Green drive, but the suspicion is that it has been relabelled and is in fact a scam.
