Purchasing a new printer for W10

I am currently using Home Version Build 19536.1000. With all these updates my printer is now obsolete. I would like to purchase a new all in one but am skeptical because of the W10 updates. I have looked at several , however, not all are OS compatable with W10. I know that new driver options are available for some printers but I'm thinking it might be best to wait till
W10 updates are finished. I would ask for your opinion please, thanks

Whenever I buy new hardware like printers, I always go to the manufacturers website to see what the state of their driver support for Windows 10 is like.

What printer do you have? What made it obsolete?

Hate to tell you this but back when the Technical Preview of Windows 10 [now Insider Preview] became available there was talk about WaaS [Windows as a Service] being the last actual version with more or less continual Upgrades [now at twice a year] and updates to them [Patch Tuesday] at least monthly so there may be a long wait before it is finished.

Along the same lines is SaaS [Software as a Service] which is the same as a Subscription, e.g. Microsoft Office 365 and others such as Adobe offerings.

Your printer should work. There are (2016) printer drivers on Canon site. Try to reinstall it

    What is exact problem?

That printer has a Windows 8.1 64 bit driver which should work. Run the installer in compatibility mode for Windows 8.1.
