    How can I check whether I can safely mount a webcam on my monitor?


    My new monitor doesnt have a webcam and looks a bit flimsy. It would be ideal to mount one on it- no inbuilt. How can I check if I might have problems?

    Depends upon what the webcam has for a mounting system, some have a type of a clamp. Or use Velcro, check the sewing department at Wal*Mart, Joann's Fabrics, etc.

    If you can mount the camera without it touching the screen it should be OK.
