Can't burn DVDs

    So, do you think even an external DVD drive may not work if I don't fix the internal one (and if I did that I wouldn't need the external one, of course)?

    Here is a PDF for your computer: [PDF] Also, I had a (new) Lenovo laptop that wouldn't play or see anything in the optical drive. I bought an external drive and it worked just fine. Very little money for pleasure TOSHIBA Satellite L50-B/L50D-B/L50t-B/L50Dt-BSatellite S50 ..

    Icecream PDF Editor gives me an error when I try to open it. It says "Code: SxErrorInvalidFormat".

    Get your data off the system, etc. and do the clean install. Still a good laptop at this point.

    I can read it using Firefox and downloading (saving it) to my Documents, with File explorer.

    OK, now that you have a clean laptop and you still have the same problem. Please I beg you, go buy you a USB CD/DVD drive that will read/write and you want be disappointed. Your laptop is still good...just the CD writer quit.
