How to remove any trace of the HP printer software on my version 19041

I developed a problem with my HP all in one 8600 printer connection. It is Wi-Fi type connection. It started not to connect a couple of updates ago. I tried deleting all the printer software and nothing I do will get rid of it when I look at printers and scanners. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate help as I have done everything I can think of to get rid of the printer software. HELP??

In Devices and Printers, right click on the printer and select Remove.

Revo Uninstaller [FREE] is excellent at getting rid of all leftovers [reg entries etc]!

    I hope this helps!

Have tried to delete the printer software for devices and printers. It does not clear out completely. Still shows up even after the software is physically removed from all programs. However I have not tried using Revo Uninstaller and that program may just do the trick. I have been using that for years and just did not give it a thought. Thanks to both of you fellas. I will go try that now. LOL

    Try this:
Open Control Panel (Search: Control Panel) Go to Devices and Printers Select any printer to highlight it
Go to the top menu > click Print Server Properties
    Go to the Drivers Tab
If you find your phantom printer here > click to highlight it > click the Remove button

This will remove the drivers from the system, not just the printer from the list of available printers.
    See if that works.

Thanks but even that did not work. Ended up doing a clean install and when it started up all was well.

Thanks to all who tried to help me out. The clean install seemed to be the only option and it worked.

... and I assume you've now created an image of the new install, with Macrium Reflect (free)

    Issue with HP finally fixed!!

I finally did a complete clean install and that corrected everything. Thanks to anyone who tried to help me out. Nothing that was suggested helped so the clean install was my last option. Thanks much to all of you. Issue solved the hard way.
