    Different results in Win Update 64 bits


    Hi
    I try to install my old HP Deskjet 520 to my Win 10 computer.
    It worked fine in my Win 7 system with a driver called HP Deskjet 500 that i got from win update when I installd the printer.

    When I now try to install the printer in my Win 10 system 64 bits I do not succed. In the installation process Windows update does not present the HP Deskjet 500.

    A friend of mine tried to do the same thing and he was presented th HP Deskjet 500 in the installation process.

    Strange I think.
    Is there anything I can do to get hold of the driver for my old HP - printer.
    I hope so , but ..................

    Ok, then suggest you try Google and search for drivers... or you might consider trying a driver updater tool - which I'd never normally recommend. E.g. Drivermax (2 free per day- or it used to be).

    There's this:

    but I've no idea as to the validity of the site..
