I checked to see if drivers were updated and they were. After about a half-hour or so they start working again. But not all the time. I recently did a clean install of version 1909. I don't see any dust or debris in my keyboard.

    Hi Dan

    Which model do you have?

I ask as the is a keyboard driver that quite a few Asus devices need. Can't recall name but if you supply model I'll check and post back proper name.

    Please clarify -
    "some" - which keys?
"don't work" - you mean nothing happens when you press a key or the wrong thing happens?
"After about a half-hour" - even if you do nothing? Only if you do something in particular?

asdf keys sometimes do not respond, I have to hit them 30 or so times to get anything to happen or wait a bit for them to respond. This fixes itself within half an hour or so, mostly the far left keys.

Most likely gamer wear damage to keys in that area.
I got heat damage to the right side of my keyboard after 4 years, it is very slightly warmer but enough to affect some keys in that area.
    Fixed by replacing the Keyboard.

You cannot get to the key contacts area in a Membrane keyboard.

Could you check this please. I can't find that model on Asus. Models with similar number.

If your keyboard is shot then you can get a new keyboard.

Can't find that either. lots of G750J something.

Anyway the driver I was thinking about is this one. You just have to find the right download for your model.
