    HP Omen Gaming Laptop Battery Status Question


    Hello All

    Windows 10 Home 1909 18363.476 x64
    Antivirus: Windows Defender Antivirus/Malwarebytes 4.0 Free

    Anyways wondering if battery status is fine, I try to use it some days on battery a while to about 20 percent, then recharge back to 100, then keep use it on A/C next day a little while, though my usage patterns have changed a bit since now Desktop and Laptop in same room.

    So I tend to switch off if Desktop is busy encoding a dvd to a file that maybe can play on Smart TV, so far haven't had much luck there though


    Should I enable HP battery care in UEFI bios to like 80 percent?

Laptop Battery Charge Status

The battery status on my 3 year old Dell laptop shows Fully Charged 100% when plugged in but then drops to 92% as soon as I unplug the charger. Why does Windows 10 the report battery status like this?
