    Printer not printing after installation

Hello, i have windows 10 64bit pro 1903 installed on my computer...i have an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn printer and downloaded the driver+software for windows 10 64bit and installed on my computer. After installation the printer shows under "printers and scanners" but doesnt print the test page or any other document and the printer shows "idle". I have this pc connected to a network of computers and also connected to other printers on the network and can print on them from my default computer...
Can anyone help me why i cant print on my installed printer?

I once had that problem after installing a new Windows 10 build and found a couple of odd entries had stopped the print spooler. You might try clearing any items in your spooler queue and see if this fixes the problem. You should be able to access the queue by opening Control Panel > Devices & Printers and clicking on your HP printer.

So this is a network printer, please confirm.

If network printer what port does it say it is using. If Network printer are you using a static IP address on it or a reservation in your router?

For Printer Port .... Start > Settings > Devices > Printers > Your Printer > Manage > Printer Properties > Ports

See if the IP Address makes sense.

Think we have a Print Spooler reset tutorial.

I was having a very similar issue today. It was the first time trying to print since I updated to Windows 1909. If you can, get the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store. Then open it and click on one of the buttons, like Print Photos or Print Documents and see if it works from there.

I could not print anything from Windows until I printed something from the HP Smart app.

Hope this works for you too.

Im using a printer connected directly to the windows 10 pc and i cannot print from it....ultimately i connected this printer to a windows 7 pc and it worked without any problems. Both computers were on the the same network and i could print on this printer from windows 10 pc as a network printer

I already uninstalled the printer from windows 10 pc and installed on windows 7 and works like a charm.....

Interesting. I don't think of a printer directly connected to PC as a network printer, more what I call a shared device.

Sound like you have a lot or experience doing this but I would suggesting checking tutorial for any Win 10 specifics.
