    DVD/CD not found Win 10

After installing anew HD and 10 on a HP all in one there is no DVD/CD found.I followed
some guidlines for Hardware Diagnostics test but that was for checking the Hard Drive.
    Never found the DVD test.
Uninstalling ATAPI in device mgr w/reboot won't work cause it aint there either. What is
there is SATA-____ and i'm not sure if i should delete (uninstall) that.
Please Help ! I need this for my work and getting a little nervous.

I assuming that HD means a new hard drive (HDD). If so, did you go to HP's driver support web page for all your drivers and install them? .Was this a clean install of windows 10 on the new drive?

How did you install Win 10?
Check the SATA and power cables on the DVD/CD drive.
After a clean install you should check if there is no yellow alerts of missing drivers on device manager.

I don't recall seeing any yellow in device manager but I'll look again because there
should be !Back to work. Thanks again.I'll keep you posted.

Enter BIOS and see if the CD / DVD is listed under SATA devices.

If there is no sign of the DVD drive in the BIOS or Windows then check the SATA and power cables to the DVD at both ends. Check there is power to the DVD by opening the tray. The next step would be to replace the SATA cable.
