    Invert/reverse mouse pointer direction

I just bought a new palm rest and bottom case for my lenovo g50 laptop but I found out that the chip under the trackpad was flipped. So when I want to move the pointer to any direction, it goes the opposite side. I've tried to remove the trackpad chip on the old palm rest but I dunno how to do it. I dunno if it has adhesive between the chip and the pad. I dont want to accidentally break the chip on the new one if I try to flip it.

Is there a software to invert the orientation of the trackpad? I've searched but result shows "reverse scrolling" not orientation.

    PS. Windows 10 v1903 build 18362.418

Can you not just rotate the trackpad by 180 degrees - as it sounds to me that it's been fitted incorrectly?

Yup thats the problem. But it is the chip under the pad that fitted incorrectly not the pad itself. I would do it if I could remove the chip. But the problem is, it is attached to the pad. There's no screw or something between those two. The pad is part of the palm rest/upper case of the laptop.

If neither of these two tangential solutions help:

Solved: How to reverse scrolling direction on touchpad for Lenovo Thinkpad T460 - Lenovo Community

Solved: touchpad for scrolling up/down is not working for g500 - Lenovo Community

Then am not sure what else could be done?

Whole trackpad assembly in my VAIO can definitely be unscrewed from the palm rest, but am not entirely sure whether it could be rotated / fitted upside down (I think yes).

Ive done that but its just for scrolling. Good for you it can be unscrewed. So I guess theres nothing can be done unless I risk separating those two.
