Uninstalled Bluetooth driver and cannot reinstall.

    Hey all,

    Windows version: 1903 (Build 18362.418)

So today I made a mistake and uninstalled, not disabled, my bluetooth driver from Device manager. No matter what I try, the driver will not come back. I have tried "showing hidden items" in device manager, downloading the driver from the ASRock website, which ended up being the same driver version I already had installed, and looking into people with the same issue as me for about two hours.

I'm at a loss as to what to do, I can get specific specs if need be, if they don't show up.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Windows will only install the driver that is compatible with the WiFi chipset, which also controls Bluetooth. What problems are you having with Bluetooth or what led you to uninstalling the device and driver in the first place?

The whole thing started because my monitor was freezing, and then not reading a signal from the HDMI1 port. It happened about 5 or 6 times before I figured out how to get into the boot menu. Pretty sure something in there stopped the freezing and then automatic restart issue. After that, my bluetooth driver disappeared but was under the hidden section in device manager. After trying to update those drivers, all saying they were okay, I decided to go the route of deleting it, and then letting windows reinstall it after a restart. Tried it and now I'm here.

Devices that Windows is not using will go into the Hidden Category. As for the monitor, is there anything in the logs showing events along with are you getting any error message? When is the freezing happening? Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Your GPU could also be overheating and causing the freezing. NVIDIA drivers and Windows 10 have had some ongoing driver issues for some time. The only other items that could cause video output freezing would be RAM, hard drive or worse case, CPU. What happens if you use the built in Intel GPU to make it is only isolated to your add-in card.

What bios ver. is flashed for the MB bios? The freezing of the GT 1030 is a known issue. https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/t...es-xid-errors/. Some are stating that it can be because of Power Delivery for the card.
