    FYI...

I don't know if this was thought of but Logitech makes both mouse and keyboard with built in Easy-Switch which allows these devices to be paired on up to 3 different devices.

Example: both my Logitech keyboard (Craft) and my Logitech mouse (MX Master 2S) have smart switches that allow me to switch between my desktop and laptop when needed. You can check out this video at the 1 minute mark...

There's also their Logitech Flow technology as seen here...

Anyway you don't need their high-end devices to get this tech, you can get this affordable combo here - Logitech MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo. Product info here - MK850 Performance

I use Easy-Switch and it works like a champ. Flow can be a bit wonky but it also works once you get it set up. With Flow you need to have the Options software on both PC's. With Easy-Switch, it's just pairing the items to the devices.

Just FYI, and may be more convenient than buying and using a switch.

This is great if you want to use one Mouse and Keyboard for your Phone, Tablet and Computer.
But if you want to use one Mouse, Keyboard and Monitor on more then one computer or laptop, just use a KVM Switch.

no need for a kvm switch, Input director works extremely well and is very simple to use with very little input delay, and unlike kvm switches, it can send input to multiple PC's simultaneously
