    Secondary HDD Possibly Sleeping?

Hello, I have recently did a restore on the comp (cleaning the craps) and I can't remember how I fixed it before...but I'd like it so that Windows 10 doesn't put my secondary HDD asleep. I actually have programs on there I access and I've noticed a delay on launching them...might be because the drive is going to sleep...might not...but I'd like to disable the sleeping on the secondary HDD. I went to power options and seen where to change in minutes until the Drives are put to sleep but I'm not concerned about my main Drive that holds the OS...if I'm away from the computer and it wants to sleep fine...but if I'm active I'd like the secondary HDD to always be ready and available without delay.

    I'm on Windows 10 the 1903 version.

    Thank you =)

A question: is the secondary HDD internal or an external USB drive?

In power/sleep tab does it show both drives? I only have 1 drive connected and it doesn't show or saying thing about what drive it is. So I can only assume it's the C drive.

Has the BIOS been checked for the SATA port being turned off? Windows takes a large amount of what the BIOS has so it knows how to run itself based on the resources reported available.

No I haven't checked the BIOS. Don't really know how. I just know in the past I was able to prevent the Secondary Drive from sleeping but I can't remember how. I don't even know at this time if it's the Secondary Drive sleeping or maybe it's something with Windows 10 version 1903. I just know I have a program that is slow to launch and I thought it might be that the Drive is sleeping and taking a minute to wake up and launch the requested program.
