EVGA`s are the best and have the best warranties

No, I`m not bias at all

EVGA - Products - Power Supplies

But does your PSU have a warranty ?

If it does and is still under warranty, all you`ll have to pay for is shipping to XFX.

What does "Fully Modular" mean ? - Think i found, what it means, you can connect only the cable you need

Fully modular is when even 24pin can be removed and semi-modular means that 24pin can't and all others can and you can use only cables you need.

If going with Corsair, I'd probably try to avoid the C series unless I had no choice.

Your graphics card supposedly uses about 115 watts.

I'd think you'd do fine with say a 500 watt PSU, but you may just like large numbers more than small numbers or possibly you intend to change to a much higher wattage graphics card.

Semi-modular should be fine as you would have to use the 24 pin cable regardless. Normally, you'd pay more for full modular just for the privilege of being able to disconnect the 24 pin cable. Marketing---"full" anything is better than "semi" anything.

Sorry to add to an old thread but....the PSU that was my son's home built had a 5 year warranty. He gave me that computer a month or so ago and the other day it quit-wouldn't turn on. Found out the PSU was bad and it had a 5 year warranty on it.
Wanna know when my son purchased the PSU?!? Sept of 2015. The PSU lasted 5 years and 2 months!!!
    It's a Cooler Master V Semi-Modular 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply.

I purchased this PSU to replace it, it has a 10 year warranty effective today!!!
Seasonic FOCUS PX-750, 750W 80+ Platinum Full-Modular, Fan Control in Fanless, Silent, and Cooling Mode, 10 Year Warranty, Perfect Power Supply for Gaming and Various Application, SSR-750PX

And......last but not least, the PC I built for myself 5 years ago when my son built his (we both built them on the same day together), has an EVGA G2 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply and it has a 10 year warranty. If it's as accurate as the Cooler Master PSU that my son used, I've still got 5 good years left in mine!!!!!
